Ali Ojjeh

Ali brings an in-depth understanding of the financial markets with specific expertise in the energy and technology sectors. He is the chair of the firm’s executive and investment committees.

In addition, he’s the Executive Chairman of Northgate Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm with $5 billion in assets under management. Northgate is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an office in Mexico City.

Prior to co-founding TCP in 1998, he worked in various departments at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York, including Equity Research, Equity Proprietary Trading and Principal Investments specializing in Technology and Energy investments. Ali is the former vice-chairman of the advisory council at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) where he served for seven years.  He is a also a former council member of the Freeman Spogli Institute (FSI) at Stanford University. Ali holds a B.Sc. from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from Stanford. He also received the “Best article of the year” award from the Wharton Journal in 1988.

Ali possesses a Series 7 NASD Registration and has been approved by the FSA under section 59 of FSMA to perform certain controlled functions for TCP UK.

Casey Gordon

Casey joined TCP in 2006 as Head of Private Investments with responsibility for the firm’s private equity, venture capital, and real-estate investment programs and new business development.

Since 2016, Casey has taken a leading role with Northgate Capital,  one of TCP’s strategic business interests, serving on the firm’s operating committee and being actively involved in the day-to-day management of the firm. Since 2018, Casey has been the Managing Partner of Northgate, providing oversight to Northgate’s venture capital and private equity investment programs, actively involved in client relationship development, and managing the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Casey brings over 16 years of experience sourcing and executing investments in private equity, real-estate, venture capital, and healthcare to TCP and Northgate. Casey currently serves on the Board of Directors for Atia Vision, Supira Medical, and Cerestra Advisors Private Limited. Casey served on the Board of Directors for NuVera Medical until it was sold to Ethicon, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, in December 2020.

Casey holds a BA in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management

Gautam Kainth

Gautam joined TCP Heath Ventures in 2017 and since then, he has led several early stage investments in healthcare and technology sectors. Gautam serves as a member of Board of Directors for Tioga Cardiovascular Inc., Adona Medical Inc., Akura Medical Inc., Plexaa Limited, and a Board Observer for Mindset Technologies Limited.

Gautam has over 20 years of investment experience, across various sectors with total deployed capital of $1+ billion. Previously, Gautam worked with Religare Global Asset Management (a multi-boutique asset management platform with peak aggregate assets of $22 billion), Evolvence India Fund (India focused private equity fund with assets of $300 million), and JP Morgan (equity research).

Gautam holds an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi and has completed Health Innovation Management program from Imperial College London. Gautam has been felicitated as “40 Under 40 Alternative Investment Professionals” for 2019 by AIWMI and IAAIF.

Laura joined TCP in 2015 and has over 10 years’ experience advising and leading front-to-back change programs with the world’s leading financial services organizations and government institutions

After completing her MBA and MA, Laura worked in London for Tier 1 financial institutions including Deutsche Bank Plc, Aviva Life Plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland, The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, among others, on large-scale global strategic and operational transformation programmes.

Laura has an MBA, MA, and BA from Kansas State University and the University of Leeds. She enjoys working with teams across the TCP Group to bring innovation and insight to our clients

Faisal Muasher


Faisal represents TCP’s investment strategies and direct investment products to institutional investors and family offices globally. Beyond his primary focus, he is actively involved in various activities across the firm, collaborating closely with the investment team. Faisal plays a role in capital solutions and coverage efforts, fostering strong relationships with TCP’s global network.

Prior to joining TCP in 2023, Faisal was at Olma Capital Management, and before that spent six years at Bank of London & The Middle East (BLME). Faisal was directly involved in client coverage and investor relations efforts for alternative investment products and real estate investment vehicles.

Faisal graduated from The George Washington University with a B.B.A. in Finance.

Ahmad Nehlawi

Ahmad currently supports private equity and venture capital fundraising and private placements for The Capital Partnership. In this role, Ahmad helps identify and develop relationships with investors around the globe. In addition to fundraising, Ahmad is involved in a number of strategic programs for TCP.

Ahmad has over 10 years of investment banking and private equity experience assisting corporates and Sovereign Wealth Funds across corporate finance and capital markets assignments. Previously, Ahmad was at J.P. Morgan as part of the Equity Capital Markets and Corporate Finance advisory teams. Prior to that, Ahmad was part of Perella Weinberg Partners’ Middle East coverage team focusing on M&A and restructuring mandates.

Ahmad graduated in 2010 from McGill University with a B.Comm in Finance and Accounting.

Amy Harvey

Amy is TCP Group’s legal counsel. She is responsible for managing TCP Group’s legal affairs including supervision and coordination of external counsel.

Prior to joining TCP in September 2009, Amy worked at Olswang LLP where she specialized on a range of private equity transactions acting for institutional investors, entrepreneurs and management buy-out teams. Before that, she worked as a corporate lawyer at two top-flight Canadian law firms.

She is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and has also been admitted as a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in history from the University of Guelph.

Head of Fund Operations

Peter Igoe

Prior to joining TCP in 2010, Peter was Head of Business Analytics for Bank of America Merrill Lynch Fund Services (EMEA), where he managed a team of software developers in the delivery of customised solutions to support the fund administration, investor servicing, operational, data management and custody product business lines. Between 1996 and 2006 he worked at Fortis Prime Fund Solutions (Ireland) and was promoted to the role of head of Software Development in 2002.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons.) from Waterford Institute of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Economics and Finance from National University of Ireland and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Griffith College Dublin

Tim Savage

Prior to joining the TCP Group in 2007, Tim was Head of Finance for the UK and Irish operations of Maiden Outdoor Advertising and company secretary of the London listed parent, Maiden Group plc. Between 1984 and 1991, Tim worked at Price Waterhouse in London where he gained extensive experience in assurance work, financial investigations and corporate transactions involving clients in a wide range of industry sectors.

Tim is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with Price Waterhouse in 1987, and a graduate in Engineering Science from Exeter University. Tim currently serves on the Operating Committee for Northgate Capital.
